Bobbin Collecting
Bobbin collecting is a fun and affordable way to enjoy antique shopping. Most any antique shop will have a selection of wooden bobbins and textile collectibles.
Wooden bobbins are quality symbols of time long gone. Textile mills once employed many different types of bobbins for spinning and weaving textiles. Each bobbin was hand crafted of hardwoods to fit specific machines, so there were a variety of shapes, styles and sizes.
Due to modernization and reorganization, textile mills ceased using wooden bobbins many years ago, so I have collected these historic relics for you to enjoy.
